Softbank releases new 3G phones
Softbank 812SH is the new 3G phone that will be released by Softbank mobile. You can view it’s flash site HERE. The site is in Japanese though so you might want to read more about it here. I’ll try to put everything I can find about the phone here. But keep in mind, it’s still not out yet.

The phone is set to come out in March, which according to Wireless Watch Japan is “traditionally the busiest handset replacement month of the year in Japan as the new academic and fiscal year begins on April 1st”. So I guess that means, the 812SH is going to be part of the crazy wireless rat race on its released.
The phone comes in 20 colors, courtesy of Pantone and the most disgusting color is Pink. I hate pink but that’s just me. :) Did I mention that this phone is a major blingbling? Some of the models are covered with Swarovski crystals. And since color variation is quite an integral part of Japan’s phone consumers’ expectations, Softbank is tapping on that profitable aspect.

Unfortunately, I don’t know how much the phone costs yet but I am sure it will be know upon it’s released in March this year. I think the one with the crystals might just cost you an arm in Japan.
