Prosolid: A slim i-mode keitai from Panasonic
The Japanese carriers continue to release new phones for the Xmas shopping season. Today, the latest Panasonic 2G-phone Prosolid was released by DoCoMo. It is a low-end phone with a nice design. DoCoMo promotes it with the slogan: slim & cool.
The phone is indeed slim — 16.7mm. It has a 2.2 inch TFT display with 65,536 colours, 123×176 dots. Battery stand-by is 400 hours and 125 talk-time. The subdisplay is an 0.98 inch EL-type with 25×96 dots. There are no features like Felica or Java. The phone does not have a camera either.
