Xmas illumination on Japanese phones
Though Japanese do not have a Christian tradition, Xmas eve is the most popular time for a romantic date. On December 24th, no rooms are available in any of the numerous love-hotels on the Dogenzaka hill in the Shibuya district of Tokyo. December 25th and boxing day, however are normal working days.
The shopping centres and public squares have beautiful Xmas illumination and are competing to attract large crowds of young couples. Mapping company Zenrin and content provider Cybird have added a new section in their location-based services for i-mode and Vodafone Live! All Xmas illumination spots can be found on the site. Photos are displayed and detailed information is given. It also tells how to get to the site and gives detailed maps.
Stay tuned for photos of the Tokyo Xmas illumination spots.

I’m Taro over on the “regular” news side of 3-yen.com. I just discovered your posts on Keitai so I thought I better drop you a line. I work for a spin-off of H!tach! Telecom so I will look forward to your mobile posts.
